About the club

Thameswey Canoe Club formed in 1987, is based at Waterland (Lake 32) on the Cotswold Water Park and now has more than 200 members.

Our youngest paddlers start at age 7 but we have plenty of teens paddling and a good range of more mature folk who manage to keep up with them despite increasing years!

We particularly welcome parents if they want to join up with their children. All our activities are mixed-age, the only criteria for participation is the desire to be part of what we do and the ability to safely manage the water we will be floating on that day.

We arrange all sorts of training, which is described in more detail on the training page and we also organise a variety of trips which are kept up to date on our club programme.

We also have a mailing list to keep you up-to-date by email. If you haven’t already been invited to join, please contact the Secretary.

Please talk to any of the committee if you need further information or have any problems or suggestions.

This is your club; we want to help you make the most of it!
