2017 BoP Champs day 2

A frustrating day on the water today with the breeze starting from the South then Dying, coming in from the North only for the same to happen again. A few fun races were held while waiting for the wind to stabilize a bit and this meant that racing was delayed until after lunch. When we did get racing then the breeze had filled a bit from the North again and a few races were held before the wind flicked back to the South for the last few races. Conditions were twitchy with some big shifts and some even bigger holes but everyone generally got a good leg then a crud one so most of these evened out. RO Bruce M did a stellar job of running the event on short notice and the Club would like to thank him and all his helpers for all the good work they did during the weekend. Congratulations to Ian Vickers on taking the event out and there were some good tight battles all the way down the board with a few places being decided by only a few points.
