The conference organizers are pleased to announce an international conference on Forest Related Traditional Knowledge and Culture to be held in Seoul, Korea from October 5 ~ 9, 2008.

Objectives

The conference will bring together international experts in forestry, cultural history, ethno-botany, traditional knowledge, landscape planning, and agriculture.
The conference participants will mainly come from, but not necessarily limited to, northeast Asia.
The conference is to provide opportunities for scientists and specialists to exchange and share cases of traditional forest knowledge and culture which can be applicable to sustainable forest management.
