She was first appointed warden in 2000 and is currently in the third year of her second term of office.  One aspect she particularly enjoys and finds most rewarding is pastoral care. A vegetarian for fifty years, she is actively involved in campaigning on animal welfare issues.

They have lived outside the Parish since their marriage and when their daughter Claire and son in law Anthony wished to be married at St Bartholomew’s they all became members of the congregation in 2002. All are involved in the Church, Brian having served some years as a sidesman and assisting with the Friday working party, Catherine a steward and is on Parish breakfast rota, Claire is involved in the crèche and Anthony as a sidesman. They now have two grandchildren who are both enthusiastic members of Junior Church and attend St Bartholomew’s School.

Parish Co-ordinator: Sue Lee

My role as Parish Administrator is extremely varied and it would be a lengthy process to describe all aspects of the job. However, my priority is to give everyone who comes into St. Bart’s Parish Office a friendly welcome and to be happy to help. If you wish to book a Wedding or a Baptism, I am the person who can do this and I will provide you with all the information that you need. I also deal with all the Church Hall bookings and can show you around the Hall and answer any queries you may have regarding this. I do the Administration which is involved in the day to day running of the Church and also help to produce our Church Magazine, information leaflets and generally making sure that the Church life runs as smoothly as possible.
