TESDA-ISABELA LAUNCHES PROJECT IRIK

As flagship on Poverty Reduction Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC), TESDA Isabela launched its program on Project Implementation of Resources for Isabeleños towards Key employment and livelihood (IRIK) on May 18, 2022 at Brgy. Sindun Bayabo, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

Said program aims to provide livelihood and employment opportunities to the residents in areas affected by Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) through skills training from TESDA and other interventions from PRLEC NTF-ELCAC member agencies.

Twenty-one (21) residents from the said barangay attended the orien-tation and Training Induction Program (TIP) conducted by TESDA Isa-bela.

Said participants were recipients of the agency’s training on Dress-making NC II which will run for thirty-eight (38) days under the Spe-cial Training for Employment Program (STEP).

The said training will be carried out by TESDA Isabela Provincial Train-ing Center (IPTC) headed by School Administrator Ma’am Juliet Ra-mos.
