The Terrier Sound Marching Band has earned SUPERIOR ratings for the past 20 years, in the same uniforms!
Students not only benefit from being a part of the Marching Band, but they also give back to the community by performing at community events, parades and even marched in front of the Space Shuttle Atlantis as it was rolled to its final resting place at the Kennedy Space Center in 2012.
When asked what the marching band means to them, students state: “It is my school family, where I am accepted for being me.” “Marching Band is a place where I am pushed to do my best.” “Band is the best thing to be involved in at THS!”
Although our students continue to shine, these uniforms have seen better days and are in desperate need of replacement. Even though we have taken wonderful care of the uniforms, we have had to stich inseams and jackets in the stands, because the stitching is beginning to disintegrate, and the hats are losing their fabric.
Over 200 students are involved in our marching program each year. Replacing just one uniform costs approximately $450. This Tuesday, Giving Tuesday, we are asking for your help to replace our 20-year-old uniforms.
to our Uniform Fundraising Page. EVERY donation helps us reach our goal of 200 uniforms!!
