Drum Major Auditions 2015
The 1st Round of Auditions will take place on Monday, May 11 after school (ending time will be determined based on how many students are auditioning)
During this round you will:
Conduct - Strawberry Soup AND Teach a marching concept of our choice
The Final Round of Auditions will take place on Monday, May 18 after school (ending time will be determined based on how many students are auditioning)
During this round you will:
Teach a Marching Concept (based on random draw - concepts will include - Attention, First Step, Mark Time, Forward March, Backward March, Sliding, Transition from Forward to Backward March)
Call Commands
Conduct Strawberry Soup
Interview
Salute - 8-12 Counts (Be Creative - get ideas from YouTube) :)
Additional things that you will need - These are due Monday, May 11 (if you need help printing anything out, please email us at terriersound@gmail.com and we will be happy to print out a packet for you)
500 Word Essay (see requirements for more information)
3 Teacher Recommendations (in envelopes with your name on each one and a teacher signature across the seal)
