Terrace Park PTA's Mission and Goals

Mission

The objective of the Terrace Park PTA is to enhance the educational experience of the students. We strive to do this by providing support and resources for academic programs and social activities that foster and strengthen our sense of school and community. We believe that the responsibility for successful education is shared among the school, the families and the students. We value the many volunteers and contributions that make our school an excellent place for students to thrive and grow.

PTA Goals:

  • Increase the number of families involved in PTA to 325 members and 325 volunteers.
  • Increase communication and support between Staff, Families and the PTA as an organization.
  • Continue regular social and educational activities for Terrace Park families, such as Carnival, Math Night, Talent Show, Pool Parties, Sock Hop, Movie Night, After School Programs, and Science Fair.
  • Continue support of our classrooms by providing each teacher and specialist funds to purchase needed supplies.

Your Involvement:

The PTA can best support your child only with your involvement! We are asking for every family to:

  • Join the PTA
  • Volunteer one time during the year
  • Support the WOLF Pride fundraiser
Please visit us at our first General Meeting, October 8th at 6:00pm.

Hello Terrace Park Families,

The goal of Terrace Park PTA is to encourage parent, teacher and community involvement in the education of our students. We are not only about raising money, we are about creating an environment in which our children can be successful emotionally, educationally and socially while at Terrace Park. Your support and involvement is the only way we can accomplish these goals!

PTA is for everyone that has a student at Terrace Park; moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles or anyone who wants to help our students. Think you can’t be involved with PTA because you work? You CAN be involved in PTA with little time commitment that fits into YOUR schedule. Do you have a love of reading? We could use you as the Young Author’s Day chairperson. Do you enjoy organizing events? You would be great for heading up the wolf walk fundraiser. Are you passionate about having a great school or have great ideas to share? Join the PTA board!

All of the great things that happen at our school can’t happen without great people like YOU.
