Weapons:

Eldar Shuriken Weaponry (Discovered: One does not simply walk into Ntharis; Completed: Ntharis Week 58/56)

These Eldar small arms rapidly fire high-velocity razor sharp disks capable of tearing targets to shreds.
  • Difficult Difficulty (-10 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 10
  • Research lead: Wrench
  • Associated Skills: Ballistic Skill, Forbidden Lore (Xenos - Eldar), Scholastic Lore (Tactica Imperialis), Tech-Use, Trade (Armourer).
  • Results: Exotic Weapon Training (Shuriken Pistol; Shuriken Catapult) talents are now available as Elite Advances for Explorers.

Void-firing Ork Slugga (Discovered: The Witch-Curse World - Week 10 (Aftermath); Completed: Footfall - Week 12)
  • Difficult Difficulty (-10 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 10
  • Research lead: Mord
  • Associated Skills: Chem-Use, Common Lore (Tech), Forbidden Lore (Xenos - Orkz), Scholastic Lore (Chymistry), Tech-Use.
  • Results: Void ammo now considered to have common rarity.

Spacecraft:

Proscribed Archeotech Adeptus Mechanicus Probe Machine Spirit - Operations Support (Discovered: Time Skip; Complete: Time Skip)

The probe's machine spirit has proven hostile in the past, forcefully overriding the Rache's own machine spirit and endangering both crew and ship. It may be possible to repurpose the probe's machine spirit, using it to instead improve ship operations.
  • Hard Difficulty (-30 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 12
  • Associated Skills: Forbidden Lore (Adeptus Mechanicus, Archeotech), Scholastic Lore (Archaic), Speak Language (Techna-Lingua), Tech-Use, Trade (Shipwright).
  • Results: Though the Dynasty lacks the ability to duplicate the probe's advanced cogitator core, the advanced machine spirit can be used, under constant and careful supervision, to augment ship operations. When properly installed aboard a ship, the probe grants the vessel a +1 bonus to maneuverability, but reduces the crew morale by 1.

Miscellaneous:

Proscribed Archeotech Adeptus Mechanicus Probe (Discovered: Deep Void - Week 61/59; Completed: Procession of the Damned (RL) - Week 63)

Found floating through the deep void, this Machine Cult probe is incredibly ancient and certainly worth a fortune. However, the proscription exists for a reason. Are the secrets it holds and the potential profit worth it?
  • Hard Difficulty (-20 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 10
  • Associated Skills: Evaluate, Forbidden Lore (Adeptus Mechanicus, Archeotech), Scholastic Lore (Archaic), Tech-Use
  • Results: Preliminary research into the probe has taught the explorers much about Archeotech. This knowledge has opened up additional research options and provides the Dynasty a +2 bonus to PF when dealing with Archeotech (personal, vehicular or space craft components).
Proscribed Archeotech Adeptus Mechanicus Probe Machine Spirit (Discovered: Procession of the Damned (RL) - Week 63)

The probe's machine spirit has proven hostile in the past, forcefully overriding the Rache's own machine spirit and endangering both crew and ship. Currently, the probe's machine spirit has been isolated, but there exists the option of learning how to leverage the advanced spirit either in combat or in the day-to-day running of the ship.
  • Hard Difficulty (-20 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 5
  • Associated Skills: Forbidden Lore (Adeptus Mechanicus, Archeotech), Scholastic Lore (Archaic), Tech-Use
  • Results: The initial research into the probe's machine spirit reveals an incredibly ancient and advanced cogitator core, bordering on true Artificial Intelligence - the reason for the probe's prescription. The probe is now properly isolated and the treat of another take-over has been significantly reduced. Now, with a stronger knowledge base, new research opportunities have arose.
Wraithbone (Discovered: One does not simply walk into Ntharis; Completed: Timeskip)

The strange material used in the construction of Eldar structures and vehicles.
  • Hard Difficulty (-20 to all tests)
  • Degrees of success required: 5
  • Associated Skills: Forbidden Lore (Xenos - Eldar), Psyniscience, Trade (Armourer, Shipwright).
  • Results: The research provides no real insight in the manufacturing or shaping of Wraithbone. It does, however, allow the Dynasty to better understand, care for and maintain Wraithbone items. Additionally, the added knowledge would better enable the Dynasty, and strengthen their bargaining position, when attempting to trade in Wraithbone artefacts. The Dynasty receives a +2 bonus to PF when dealing with Wraithbone (personal, vehicular or space craft components).
