Temple Jacob Goes to the Dogs, 2/25

posted Feb 23, 2017, 11:20 AM by Andy Fiss
Temple Jacob is going to the dogs this Saturday Feb 25! As in past years, we’ll meet at the Copper Country Humane Society at 2:15pm and volunteer to help walk their dogs. Before participating, please read their short handbook and liability forms. (http://www.cchumanesociety.com/volunteer/) After that, we’ll have an early dinner at the Nara chalet around 4pm, and even a short Havdalah! Frank is planning to bring his vegetarian chili, so please bring a side dish or drinks.

This will be our Shabbat service for the month of February, and we’re currently planning for a Friday night service on March 17 -- with St. Patrick’s Day themes and a Purim recap!! If you’re interested in hosting, please contact a member of the leadership team. Also, be sure to put on your March calendars that, on Saturday March 4 at 11am, we're having another Torah Study at the Portage Lake District Library in Houghton. And remember to register for L'Dor v'Dor's Purim Retreat in the Sault (http://bit.do/Purim17)!
