Business and Information Technology

This course introduces students to the ways private and public enterprises depend on information technologies for achieving strategic and operational objectives. Businesses have expanded to include technology linkages between supplies and customers that imply increasing the need for information technology resources within firms. These resources have become more visible and the accompanying roles and accountability of information systems functions have changed dramatically as a result (ISM500).
