Teera's world was nearly perfect until the night her husband was violently murdered while the two of them were sleeping.  The assailant intended to kill her too, but Teera survived. Devastated by loss and disfigured from a gruesome facial wound, her infants still to care for, Teera learned to endure and to carry on, yet the murder was only the beginning. It would be years before she escaped the turmoil she faced fleeing from Sri Lanka finding refuge for her and her children in USA. This is her life's journey, a declaration of faith, hope and love. Honest, inspiring and heart-rending. Teera's is an incredible saga set against an enchanting tropical island tainted by bloodshed and betrayal.

Join Life Coach Janet Zipper and Renowned Hypnotherapist Gale Glassner ACH, as they interview Teera De Foneseka. She is a survivor against tremendous odds. Her life was nearly perfect until her husband was violently murdered in the middle of the night while they lay in bed sleeping. The assailant attempted to kill her; nonetheless, she survived, barely. Teera was devastated by loss of her husband, severely traumatized by the crime, scarred for life with a gruesome facial wound, and her infants still needed her care. Incredibly, she learned to endure unbelievable hardship and still, carry on. She found her inner strength and embraced her power, beyond what most might believe was possible.

  • Human Touch Never underestimate the power of the human touch!Research shows that when a person is touched by another person, signals are sent to the brain which the brain translates into happiness, comfort and feelings of security. These feelings helps to decrease stress.Recently  I have been volunteering with different organizations to help feed the homeless, and I often wonder why those who are born here in the United States end up in skid row.On March 31st, 2018, a group of us volunteered to serve dinner to homeless families sheltered by the Union Station Family Center in Pasadena a place I am hoping to visit more often and learn how may i be of help.Among many others. two families ...
