Inside Worship Resumes this Sunday

posted Sep 18, 2020, 6:36 AM by Doug King

Due to the rather cool temperatures forecast for Sunday morning, we will resume worship in the church building from this point on.   Worship will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Here is what you can expect:

  • We ask that everyone wear a mask when entering and exiting the church building.
  • We will continue to sit social distancing in the sanctuary and fellowship hall.
  • Masks may be removed once seated in the sanctuary and/or fellowship hall.
  • While we sing, we will ask that masks be worn.
  • There will be no Sunday school this week.

The Leadership Team has a meeting after church this Sunday and will be revisiting guidelines at that time. If anyone in the congregation has a specific request they should talk to someone on Leadership Team (Larry Huner, Gene Goering, Ed Nafziger, Ryan Nafziger or Doug King) this Sunday morning.

In preparation for worship I invite you to read Matthew 5:38-48.

If you know of people who are planning to attend worship at Tedrow this Sunday please let them know we will be meeting inside!

I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday morning.

New Sermon Series Begins this weekend!

posted Aug 28, 2020, 12:55 PM by Doug King

We begin a new sermon series called True Faith: Conformity to Christ.  The first message in this series addresses a problem in today’s culture that is killing us, killing our faith, and killing the Church...individualism. As we look to Jesus’ example, we’ll see that He too struggled with personal wants and desires, just like us and provides us with some spiritual practices to help us keep a healthy perspective of ourselves.

Scripture:  Matthew 26:36-46
Message:  It’s NOT about you!

What to bring:

  • Lawn chair
  • Bible
  • Yourself and your family/friends

Hope to see you Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

Church Service & Activities Cancelled

posted Mar 14, 2020, 7:36 AM by Doug King

Hello Tedrow Church,

After prayerful consideration and much discernment in conjunction with the council of Ohio Mennonite Conference Leadership to being good stewards of our church membership’s health, Tedrow’s leadership has decided to cancel church services and all activities effective immediately.  The church building will be closed through April 3rd.  We are asking that no one enter the building in an effort to eliminate the possible contamination of the building.

We will continue to monitor and reevaluate as new information becomes available.

Although we will not be meeting together, the Leadership Team is available for pastoral care as needed during this time.  Do not hesitate to call, email or text us.

We urge you to be in prayer for the church, community, and the world at large, as well as government and world leaders.
