Learning Contentment & Back to School

Gluttony may be the most accepted of the Seven Deadly Sins in our culture today.  God has something to say about that!  Come and find out this Sunday, August 12.

There will be a Back to School Blessing given during worship and we'll hear how God is working in and through the community ministry of the Homework Table.

Lessons from the Ants

Sunday is coming and that means we have another opportunity to keep our spiritual fervor serving and worship the LORD!  This week I’ve been noticing and watching ants more than usual.  Probably because the focus of worship is on the deadly sin of sloth.  Come find out what we can learn from the ants.

Sunday we'll be looking at the surprise Balaam had when his donkey began talking to him.  The focus will be on when anger becomes sin.  All are invited!  9:30 a.m.

God is at Work!

This Sunday we have a special guest, Adam Graber Roth, Donor Relations Associate, MCC US & Great Lakes, who, along with his wife, recently returned as mission workers in Egypt and South Africa with Mennonite Central Committee.  He will be sharing a message and personal mission field stories of how God is at work in and through Mennonite Central Committee.

At the heart of the Story

Sunday is Christmas Eve!  We have the opportunity to worship together and reflect on the heart of the Story of Christmas...the birth of Jesus Christ, the Messiah and Savior of the world!  Won't you make room in your heart and schedule for Him?

Worship:  9:30 a.m.
Sunday School:  10:45 a.m. (1/2 hour classes for youth 8th grade and younger)
Fellowship & Visitation Time:  10:45 a.m. (for adults)

All are welcome to the Tedrow Community Christmas Eve Service:  7:00 p.m. at Living Water Church.

Voice of Peace

This is the 2nd Sunday of “The Voices of Christmas.”  This Sunday we actually, jump ahead to after Jesus’ birth and focus on the words of Simeon, (The Voice of Peace).    To familiarize yourselves with the story of Simeon, take time to read the following scripture:
