Teacher Education Division of CEC - Keynote Speaker Series

   Keynote Speaker Series Discussion Groups
Welcome! The purpose of the Keynote Speaker Series Discussion Groups is to provide our membership a unique access to lead researchers and seminal scholars in the field (TED Conference keynote speakers) through focused study of key articles and video presentations and extended interactions and conversation with the named scholars, both prior to the TED conference and as a followup to the conference keynotes. These Discussion Groups are also intended to provide the opportunity for those unable to attend the conference to engage in enhanced and focused discussions on leading scholars' key articles and videos.

Please take this opportunity to explore the work of upcoming TED Conference keynote speakers, through the articles and videos provided at the bottom of this page, in preparation for the Keynote Speaker Series encounter opportunities.

Registered Discussion Group members will have the opportunity to "encounter" Keynote speakers and their work during:
  1. live-online discussions (synchronous) - prior to the TED conference,
  2. web chat groups (asynchronous) - prior to the conference, and
  3. keynote followup sessions - at the conference.
Recordings of the Live Discussions that have already occurred, are available on each Speaker's page.

This site is a project of the
TED Professional Development Committee.
