TED LEWIS DAY CELEBRATION
Join the Ted Lewis Museum on Saturday June 6, 2015 to celebrate
Ted Lewis' 125th Birthday!

The Ted Lewis Museum is pleased to announce its Ted Lewis 125th Birthday Celebration on the anniversary of his birthday, June 6th, 2015.

The celebration will take place at the museum beginning at 10 a.m. and running through the day to 5:00 p.m.

Circleville Mayor Don McIlroy will be present at 10 a.m. to speak and make a proclamation honoring Circleville’s favorite son, Ted Lewis.

Tours of the museum will be available all day in conjunction with the Circleville Downtown Business Association’s festival. The museum will have available for sale an exciting new Ted Lewis CD. It is entitled “Ted Lewis and his Jazz Band: Runnin’ Wild, The Early Years 1919-1926”. This exclusive release honors his 125th Birthday and features recordings never before released on CD. The CD will be available for $16. Visit the museum gift shop for more Ted Lewis items.

As a special feature for the event, the museum will be hosting a Ted Lewis impersonator.

The Ted Lewis Museum’s 125th birthday celebrations continue with the Ted Lewis and Sophie Tucker: Jazz Jubilee on Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. at the Lincoln Theatre in Columbus.
