THE TED LEWIS JAZZ BAND
Bring Them Your Retirement Community, School or
The five-piece Ted Lewis Jazz Band brings the same Ted Lewis favorites to smaller venues that can't accommodate the entire 25 person Ted Lewis Orchestra and Revue.
The Ted Lewis Jazz Band features Joseph Rubin as Ted Lewis, along with an all-star five piece jazz band Clarinet/C Melody Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Drums and Piano (the same size that Ted started out with in 1917). A female vocalist completes the company for this intimate revue! Ted Lewis' arrangements have been meticulously transcribed from original records and manuscript parts so your audiences will hear this music just as it was played almost a century ago!
The program combines the biggest hits of the 1920s and 30s along with Ted's fascinating history for a entertaining and educational one hour concert. The Ted Lewis Jazz Band can perform in almost any venue, no stage needed!
