Our Scouts and Their Most Recent Project!

Our Cub Scouts planted a tree at Mary Rutan Park as part of our annual conservation project.
Above: Here is the whole crew!

Every Scout and Leader had a hand in planting the tree.

We Visited Several Museums to Earn our Scouting Aviation Heritage Medallion back in March.

We learned about the Wright Brothers and their first flight. We even accidentally visited their old flying field while following the GPS.  While visiting the Air Force Museum we saw many different military planes and learned so many historical facts. Everyone pictured above stayed the night in a cabin at Camp Birch and endured the freezing weather to enjoy a day filled with museum trips and history!
We visited:
*National Museum of the USAF
*Huffman Flying Field Interpretive Center and Wright Memorial (pictured)
*Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center
*Wright Cycle Company

Everyone pictured earned the 2015 Scouting Aviation Heritage
