Market Street Pantry

In partnership with St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Granville, we offer food and other essentials to neighbors in need at the Market Street Food Pantry. The address is 37&1/2 South 4th St., Newark, OH. Volunteers and non-perishable goods for this ministry are always welcome.

Trinity has several foyer groups, consisting of approximately 8 people each. These groups meet monthly for a simple meal at the home of someone in their group. Groups are changed every four months, and an all-foyer picnic is held in late summer.

Trinity Tutoring

For many years, several Trinity members have participated in a morning school tutoring program for students at Ben Franklin Elementary in Newark. This program is uplifting for tutors and students alike.

St. Gabriel Choir

Trinity's adult choir performs at all 10:30am services from Labor Day through Trinity Sunday and rehearses at 7pm on Wednesday evenings.
Please Note:  If you would like to sing in the St. Gabriel Choir, please contact, Davida Jones at

Trinity's Communications Committee produces a weekly update about activities at Trinity and regular updates on other activities. Since October 2015, Trinity no longer produces its newsletter (Trinity Talk). Back issues of Trinity Talk are available online.

ECW Activities

Trinity's Episcopal Church Women (ECW) group is an extremely active and vital part of our church. Once a month, after the 10:30am service, they have a very popular soup lunch. The money raised by these lunches has been put toward such causes as repairing our priceless stained-glass windows, and relief for natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. ECW also provides scholarships for children to attend summer camp at the Procter diocesan conference center. Other fund-raising events include a holiday cookie walk, and hosting the diocesan "chocolate fest" in 2012 that raised over $15,000 for the charitable outreach of the Diocese of Southern Ohio.

Community Lunch

On the fourth Sunday of each month, at 2pm, Trinity provides a free community meal to anyone in need. This has been a powerful ministry in our community, as we seek to provide to those in need.

Spiritual Growth Programs

Christian education for children happens throughout the year during the 9:30 AM Sunday service.  When we have Eucharist, the children come back into the worship space during the offertory.

We also host a bible study for adults at two different times, Wednesday at 5:30 PM and Thursday at 12:30 PM.  Right now we are reading and studying the Book of Exodus along with the rest of the Diocese of Southern Ohio, following the curriculum suggested by our bishop +Tom Breidenthal.
