Dr. Arijit Maity has done his B.E. from M.S.Ramaih Institute of Technology, Bangalore and M.Tech from Jadavpur University. He has also done Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Business Management & Research. He has also completed Ph.D from Calcutta University.

He comes in with total experience of 13 years out of which his teaching experience is of 3 Years.

He was earlier associated with:

• Grasim Industries Limited as Management Trainee.
• Lafarge India Private Limited as State Head- Customer Service
• The Ramco Cements Limited as Regional Head- Customer Services.
• ICICI Bank as Customer Relationship Officer- NRI Division

His last stint was as a HOD- Management Department in an affiliated Institution under WBUT. He has also participated in different Conferences, published various research articles, co-edited and published books. He has also conducted MDPs.

He is presently an Associate Professor in School of Management studies with focus on Entrepreneurship Development Management.
