Glogster is another wonderful Web 2.0 tool that lets you create a web page that can incorporate sound, video, images, text and more. Teachers can set up a classroom account and assign user-names and passwords. Once the student has a log in, they can create web pages that are thematic to the classroom content. At the bottom of this site, there is a free download to a rubric that can be used with students for this project. You can see some examples by clicking on the links below. Some students have used it to represent every U.S. state, virtual book reports, historical events, biographies and more.

The Glogster lesson has a student and teacher handout. Both handouts are available on the CD that accompanies this book for classroom distribution.

Book effects in Youtube video were generated using issuu and Camtasia.

Some examples of possible Glogs:

Culture; Desert Animals; Endangered Animals; Colorado State; Virtual Book Report; Music
