Caltech community garden, north of Avery

Description: Basics of plant maintenance, harvesting and irrigation. Time will be allotted for specific questions/troubleshooting for participants.

Native Plant Walk & Picnic

Description
: Join us for a native plant walk, led by master gardener Vivian Fortunaso, through the beautiful Arlington Gardens in Pasadena. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch and enjoy a picnic in the garden afterwards.

Walk will start at Sat, 10:15am, Apr. 30 at the entrance of Arlington gardens: 275 Arlington Dr, Pasadena, CA 91105

Carpool- Meet at 10am, Beckman Auditorium Parking lot

Growing in Containers & Vertical Gardening

Where: Caltech community garden, North of Avery House

Description: Master Gardener Jerri Huston will be giving a great workshop on container gardening suitable for those living in apartments or with their own plots! Attention will be given to vertical gardening practices as well. Materials, seeds, and potting soil will be provided!

If you bring your own container it should be > 1.5 gallons.
