Teaching and Learning with Wikis and Blogs

Wikis are being used by business educators at all levels of education to encourage writing, thinking, and collaboration.  A wiki is an Internet-based tool that creates a collection of web pages that can be edited by multiple users.  Not all wikis are created equal, but many wikis, in addition to editing tools, also include the ability to have discussions and track changes made to the wiki.  This demonstration will share what a wiki is and how it can be used in the classroom.  Several wiki tools will be explored and compared.  The presenters will share their experiences with creating and using wikis in their courses.  Selected examples and resources for using wikis for learning and collaboration will also be shared.
