Offering to students the tools to succeed in the education field!
The Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) a high school career  technology education (CTE) program.
 TAM is an innovate program that provides the opportunity to the students to enroll directly in a four-year college with a teacher education program.  The program focused on human growth development through adolescence, teaching as a profession, curriculum and instruction, and an education academy internship.  The high school students who completed the program and passed satisfactory the Para Pro Test or Praxis I, the students are ready for employment in the teaching profession. The TAM program is based on the outcomes of the Maryland Associate of Arts in Teaching. (A.A.T.) degree.

 Towson University is the state’s program partner, offering transcripted credit and scholarships to TAM graduates.
