Biographical Sketch

Megan Avery is currently a fifth year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. Her research interests include investigating trauma-related outcomes and correlates, including PTSD, sexual functioning, personality characteristics, and social functioning. She is currently working on her dissertation, which utlizes latent variable mixture modeling to understand sequalae of trauma, including PTSD, sexual functioning, depression, substance use, relationship functioning, and risky sexual behavior. She is involved in research at The University of Memphis and Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She provides services at The University of Memphis Psychological Services Center.
