Interactive TCP / IP animation guide

This animated guide allows a viewer to observe a complete route of information sent from a PC browser flowing trough the network to a recipient server and back

• The animation shows:
  • Three-way handshake
  • TCP connection establishment
  • encapsulations at ISO/OSI model layers
  • facilitated look at the headers on each layer
  • current location of the information in the network

CONTROLS and NAVIGATION:

• The animation consists of 24 steps and automatically stops at the begining of the each step.
• You can navigate through the animation steps by pressing the arrow keys - LEFT and RIGHT.
• To play/pause the animation press SPACE whenever you want.
• You can also use your mouse to click on any of 24 buttons representing the animation steps.
• For presentation purposes:
• PAGE_UP = back
• PAGE_DOWN = play/pause
