About Us: Polar Bears International and Tundra Connections

Polar Bears International

Polar Bears International is the only nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the worldwide conservation of the polar bear and its habitat. Our work centers on initiatives in scientific research, community–wide education, and fact–based stewardship. Our research, education, and action programs address the issues that are endangering polar bears: climate change, the environmental impact of industry, sea ice loss, global warming, and sustainability options. We’ve reached millions of people worldwide by providing science–based information, ideas for action, outreach in communities, and plans for change.

Tundra Connections

Tundra Connections is part of PBI's education program.
Every Fall, we conduct LIVE, free broadcasts from the tundra in Manitoba, Canada during the annual polar bear migration in Churchill. Throughout the remainder of the year, additional educational  broadcasts that focus on polar bears, climate change, and related topics are conducted.
