2017 March Madness Invitational Shoot

Travis County 4-H Shooting Sports 18th Annual March Madness Invitational Shoot 
The Travis County 4-H Shooting Sports Club and Austin Rifle Club would like to invite all Texas 4-H Shooting Sports members to join us on March 4th, 2017 in Manor, Texas at the Austin Rifle Club for the 18th Annual March Madness Invitational Shoot.  The following is the information and instructions for registering to participate in this event.  We look forward to seeing you all there and enjoy a large, safe and fun turnout. 
DATE:  Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Austin Rifle Club, 16312 Littig Rd, Manor, Texas 78653 
Entry Fees: $45 for three events (except BB Gun)   $3 IClay registration fee   $5 for BB Gun match to be paid at the event (equipment provided)     REGISTRATION:  Open to all registered members of the Texas 4-H Shooting Sports program.   
Registration and payment will be through website.   *If you have previously registered for events on, follow this link to sign up: *If you are new to IClays registration, go to  Click on upcoming tournaments, scroll down to March and locate Travis County 4H Shooting Sports 2017 March Madness, click register.  Input your last name and email address and press enter, then create new shooter.  Complete the shooter information. (Disregard NSCA member info, USAS # and 4H ID #.)  If you would like to purchase an event t-shirt, choose your size. If you do not want to purchase a t-shirt, leave this blank.   Once you have registered, you will have access to the event.  You then can register for 3 events.  Be sure to pick metallic or any sight events for the event you are shooting.  You pick what time fits your schedule.  IClays will not allow you to overlap relay times. 
*You will receive a wristband once the waiver is collected.  Wristbands must be visible at all times while on ARC property (adults and minors).  Waivers are available on our club website at

 RULES:  All events will be run according to the standard Texas 4-H Shooting Sports rules, as used at the 2016 Texas State Shooting Sports Event.  The match director will have final say in all disputes.  All smallbore pistol events will require a signed Pistol Permission Slip.   
It is the member’s responsibility to ensure all equipment meet guidelines/standards set by 4-H rules, (not NRA).  If your equipment does not meet 4-H standards for the event you are shooting, you will be removed from the line. 
SCHEDULE:  March 3, 2017  12:00pm Camping area opens (Gate code required)   March 4, 2017  7:00am  Check-in/Registration begins   March 4, 2017  8:00am  Orientation – Everyone must attend   March 4, 2017  9:00am  First event begins   March 4, 2017  7:00pm  Awards begin (we hope☺) 
AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 shooters per shooting discipline in each age category.   BB Gun awards for each shooting position and total aggregate.   
FOOD:  A full concession stand will be available on site for breakfast and lunch and snacks.  
ACCOMODATIONS:  Accommodations are the responsibility of the shooter.  Primitive camping is available at the range as is RV camping.  There are a limited number of 30 amp electrical connections that will be reserved on a first come first served basis.  (Wet weather can cause problems for some campsites, thus causing the loss of electrical connections and the need to move to higher ground and be primitive camping.)  Please pay camping fee upon arrival.  There are hotels in Manor and Elgin. 
CAMPING RATES: Primitive (Tent or Vehicle) $ 5 per night    RV/Camper (30 amp)  $20 per night    RV/Camper (no electric)  $10 per night    *Camping fees must be paid with registration or at the time of arrival.
