"I don't think knowing how you'll hit the ground prevents injury," Maud said, staying back but obviously concerned about the blonde now sprawled by the front door.

"Well, experience helps too, I guess," Para answered, now pushing herself back up. "That seems to happen a lot..."

"Yeah? Maybe it's the heels?" Maud suggested.

"Oh! Maybe? But I can't remove them," the blonde countered. She stood now, seemingly unhurt, and brushing off her dress. "It goes with the whole bunny girl look."

"I had noticed that motif," the bartender remarked, adjusting his sunglasses. "Is it by choice?"

"It's a quadratic thing," Para said, shrugging. "It's pretty cool really, the headband is attuned to my personality - currently the ears show my depression is at a minimum!"

Maud lifted an eyebrow, barely perceptible under his hat. "So if your depression becomes a maximum...?"

"The bunny ears droop," Para affirmed. "I make an effort not to lead off so negatively."
