The greatest thing a human soul ever does in this world is to see something, and tell what it saw in a plain way. Hundreds of people can talk for one who can think, but thousands can think for one who can see. To see clearly is poetry, prophecy, and religion, - all in one.  - John Ruskin

I am an Entrepreneur based our of Lancaster, UK. Presently exploring the Augmented Reality applications on the emerging mobile platforms and its supporting ecosystems.

Previously I was a graduate research student at Lancaster University, UK, .with research interests in the application of Service Science in Education and Learning in the 21st century, and in empowering rural and marginalized communities.

IBM's Service Science initiative and the Smarter Planet Initiative provided me the motivation to pursue MSc in E-Business and Innovation (EBIN 09-10), where I have been able to build my initial foundation in Service Science and to learn more about the changing Education Service Sector. At EBIN I developed  an understanding of technologies which enable e-business, creative destruction caused by disruptive Innovations, application of Systems Thinking, mobile and ubiquitous computing, alignment of Information Systems Strategy with Business Strategy, the impact of social media, open innovation and global crowd sourcing initiatives.
Before this I worked in the IT Services Industry in India and US for 4 years as a Software Engineer, Release Co-ordinator and a Production control Analyst. But during the professional working days my most fond memories are about working within the 'WeKare' group at Capgemini, India,  on projects like 'village school development' and English coaching programs. Looking back and reflecting over those times guided me towards taking the research path informed by Service Science in Education.

In 2005 I completed my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Bharati Viyapeeth's College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The project about the Design and Fabrication of a Printed Circuit Motor was one of the most exciting aspects of my engineering.

Since my early childhood days I have been involved with volunteering groups, affiliated to Lions International, Rotary International. I have been associated with programs such as pulse polio eradication, road safety awareness and have worked with various special schools, orphanages, old-age homes, schools for the deaf and mute, and also visually impaired children. I cherish these relationships.

I have also been a member of Toastmasters International.  I like hiking, dancing and enjoy playing the guitar. I also like to play with Windows Movie maker. Happy to hear from you, especially if we have common interests.
