The Taringa Neighbourhood Group is a group of people interested in issues that relate to the suburb of Taringa, in Brisbane, Australia. This is our neighbourhood. We are interested in issues that affect the lives of people who live, work and visit in our community.

2014-05-12   Taringa Neighourhood Plan - Public Consultation NEW

The Brisbane City Council issued a new draft of the Taringa Neighbourhood Plan and is conducting public consultation with written submissions due on Monday, 15 June 2015.

There will be "Talk to a Planner" sessions on Thursday, 19 May 12-2pm and Thursdsay, 21 May 4:30-6:30pm.

We need you to be a part of it

We encourage residents, business owners, and others interested in Taringa to get involved.  If you are in Taringa we strongly encourage you to participate. Even if you are not in Taringa, you might want to participate, because developments in Taringa often have an impact on the surrounding area.

It's easy. There are no formal membership procedures or fees, and you can leave at any time.  Just stay in touch so that you can find out what is going on and can have an opportunity to raise your point of view.

However, unless you intend to regularly visit this Web site, it is better to join the email mailing list so that you can be informed about any important changes.
