Summary of Procedure and Results of a rigorous test applied to 7 Electronic Targets.

These are all Townsville 6x6 ft. H1H Kongsberg targets. Three are new.

These targets are unique in that they are ONLY used for the NQRA Queens and Pennants shoots. Approximately two thirds of all shots on these targets have been fired from either 800 or 900m. Thus it is impossible to relate a simple shot count to degradation on other targets.

For comparison, one badly degraded target was also tested but this will not be used at the Queens. It was deliberately allowed to pass a sensible number of shots and had a hole blown out of it's centre. Despite this, it never lost a shot.

If you have time, a study of all pages listed on the left will be worthwhile.

You may download pdf Documents using the small download arrow at the bottom right of the relevant screen, or click on the file to view it directly.

In the case of the Video, I think you will need to download it using the small download arrow at the bottom right of the relevant screen.

This may depend on your Internet Browser.

I would suggest viewing the very short video first, then maybe the Quick Results sheet.

Details are listed under Procedure which also contains far more detailed results and an Addendum on Target Backs and Shot Counts.

This is long but should be read in full.

The Q and A answers some questions about the way testing was done .
