Utilizamos "come" cuando nos dirigimos hacia el lugar donde está el que habla o escucha. Por ejemplo:

Can you come? ¿Puedes venir? (este es el que habla). Yes, I'm coming. Sí, voy.

¿Qué haces mañana?  Este futuro se pone con present continuous.

What are you doing  tomorrow?

in time= a tiempo para el espectáculo

on time= a tiempo (en punto)


 

I succeeded (seksidid )=  he tenido éxito


 

in a row = en continuo


In his late fifties = cincuenta y tantos

in his early fifities = cincuenta y pocos


Ambos significan beneficio.

benefit = figurative


What does she do (for living)? ¿A qué se dedica?

She makes a living= Se gana la vida

How do you make a living? = como te ganas la vida?


neither of them (ninguna de las dos opciones)

none of them (ninguna de las dos cosas o personas)


 

Después de trouble va gerundio.

I always have trouble remembering people's names


Forget con Gerundio, significa olvidar algo ocurrido en el pasado. I will never forget meeting the King = Nunca olvidaré el momento en que conocí al rey.

Con infinitivo, significa olvidarse de hacer algo. I mustn’t forget to post this letter: No debo olvidarme de echar esta carta.

 


rise(rais) = subir solo (sin ayuda)

the sun rises (el objeto se mueve por si mismo)
