Dear TAO Foundation Members,

This is an update on the status and activities of the Foundation for the second quarter of 2007. The Foundation held its annual meeting of the Board of Directors on February 16, 2007.

W. Ivan Cendese was re-elected to the board to serve until December 2009.

Maureen St. Germain was nominated to the board, and it was unanimously agreed to extend an invitation to her. She has graciously accepted to serve for the next three years. Maureen is the founder and CEO of Transformational Enterprises, Inc. TEI bases its mission on the practical application of spiritual tools for the modern individual. As part of her ongoing mission to make spiritual tools accessible to all individuals, she wrote and recorded numerous meditation CD’s available world wide in bookstores and on the web. She leads Sacred Journeys internationally, as well as teaching meditation and manifestation seminars all over the world. A modern day mystic, Maureen’s focus is personal development and spiritual awakening. She has developed an impressive array of practical tools to assist individuals in applying quantum physics using Sacred Geometry to enhance their manifestation processes and has written several books currently under consideration for publication. Prior to starting her own company, she worked as a nonprofit CEO, fundraiser and lobbyist. She also hosted local TV shows for over five years in three different cities. Maureen is the mother of four adult sons. Maureen’s biography reads longer than we have space to mention here. However, she is a power house of intelligence, integrity, strength, love, conviction, energy and creativity. We are so lucky to have her working with us.

Dr. Ruth Pinney was nominated to the National Advisory Board and the board unanimously agreed to extend an invitation to Ruth. Ruth has also graciously agreed to serve on the National Advisory Board. Ruth provides professional consulting in the areas of technology transfer and root causal analysis. She is also the inventor of patented olfactory stimulating substances that change the brain’s perception to malodors to reduce PTSD and odorous blends that act as adjuncts in therapy to elicit changes in behavior. Dr. Pinney, Commander USNR (ret), served in the Office of Naval Research where she received extensive training in technology transfer. She is co-founder and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Children’s Foundation, which endeavors to provide technology transfer for the betterment of children’s lives. Ruth is an amazing, intelligent, insightful, creative, generous leader in everything in which she participates. We are excited to have her expertise in guiding our projects, research and further expansion.

Kimberly Lajoie sent a letter of resignation the first of this year. We understand all the demands she has in her life and her need to streamline her commitments. We are sorry to see her leave the board and we are so grateful for all the energy, support and leadership she so generously provided while the Foundation is in its formative years. We wish her well in all aspects of her life.

The Board of Directors voted to focus on autism as our next project. There has been much research on this disorder and the different modalities and their impact on children with autism. Sara Pierce has given the Foundation her recommendations for the development of this event. We have been networking with other community organizations and individuals to assist and sponsor this event. There is an enormous amount of work to this project, but we plan that by middle of 2008, we will have everything put together. We will definitely need energy workers to come into Salt Lake City to work in this event. I will keep you posted of the timing and the remuneration associated with this next project.

The presentation of the research completed September of 2006 in conjunction with the Symington Grant will be at the International Society for the Study of Energy and Energy Medicine Conference in Boulder, Colorado, at the Millennium Harvest House on Sunday, June 24 from approximately 7:45pm to 9:15pm. Geoffrey Leigh and I will be there to present for 20 minutes of the time period. I will let you know how it goes.

July 2007 is just around the corner and it’s time for membership renewal. Be aware of a membership renewal letter coming to you by surface mail. The membership will remain $50 for the next year. And, remember your membership pays for direct services to people in need and the bare minimum of operating expenses incurred in staying in touch with you. All administrative costs are donated or underwritten by other support. This year we are working on a T-shirt that will be sent to you with your membership renewal.

Remember that the DVD/VHS introduction to Integrated Awareness® is still available to members for $10 plus shipping. Purchasing these DVD’s and VHS’s directly support the Foundation and its endeavors. Many people have written to me with thanks for producing it, indicating that it has been great help, especially in starting a person who is a beginner in awareness and higher consciousness.

And, hey, check out the website - www.TaoFoundationInc.com

Blessings to all of you,

Jan Cendese, LCSW, LMT, Certified IA® Teacher, APP
Executive Director
