Tanzila Islam is an AI Researcher at Tokyo Inistitute of Technology. She has completed PhD in Systems Innovation Engineering from Iwate University, Japan. She completed her PhD under the Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT: Monbukagakusho). During her PhD, She was a PhD Research student at the University of Tokyo for 1.5 years. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Bioinformatics.
She has two years teaching experience at a renowned Private University in Bangladesh. She has also worked as a Software Engineer for a year at a renowned education management system company in Bangladesh. She has completed B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Southeast University and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University. She has participated in various national and international programming contests in her undergraduate level. She has authored and co-authored several publications in Scopus/DBLP indexed journals. Additionally, she has presented her work at several international conferences.
