Welcome

Dr. Tang is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Widener University. His research interests lie in the general areas of geotechnical and infrastructure engineering. His recent work focuses on sustainable infrastructure materials including characterization and effective use of new and sustainable materials for geotechnical and infrastructure projects. He serves on AKG30 Standing Committee on Geo-Environment and Climatic Impacts on Geomaterials and AKG40 on Mechanics and Drainage of Saturated and Unsaturated Geomaterials of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Dr. Tang also chairs a subcommittee AGK30(1) on Geoenvironmental Aspects of Geomaterials. The overarching goal of his research is to address pressing issues related to infrastructure sustainability and the nation’s aging transportation infrastructure through innovative and practical ideas and technologies. He is a registered professional engineer (PE).
