Tamara Polajnar

I am currently doing ML and NLP freelance consulting.

I am also a Visiting Researcher in the NLIP group at the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge, where I previously worked as a Senior Research Associate in distributional compositional semantics on a project funded by Stephen Clark's ERC grant DisCoTex with
Laura RimellEva Maria Vecchi, and Luana Fagarasan among others.

My areas of interest include learning to represent the meaning of complex word types, phrases, and sentences, with tools such as regression, kernel methods, and neural networks.

The PhD is from University of Glasgow with Prof. Mark Girolami and the MSc in Natural Language Processing and Cognitive Science from University of Edinburgh.
