You've Got CLASS with Eleanora "Ele" Newell and Fox Obviate

Classes are presently held Tuesdays at 12 pm SLT and Thursdays at 7 pm SLT at Builders Brewery. Wednesdays at 12 pm SLT at Mystical Mastery. Every other Wednesday at 7 pm SLT at The Art Door in Rendervisions (this class is on hold temporarily while catching up with deadlines).  I have added an 11 pm class on Friday nights for the other side of the SL World.

Big News!  If you need to get started with Sculpt Studio and can't make classes, we've come out with a self-study book!
Available at TAMA Tools and Marketplace.

This book is a great reference and goes over what we cover in the Intro class, but in more detail and more.  Richly illustrated, this book is perfect for the beginner and for anyone who is still considering whether Sculpt Studio is for them.  You can read and follow with exercises to practice what you see in the book with thorough instructions.

Now you can learn at your own rate and benefit from the teaching methods we have honed in teaching Sculpt Studio for a good two years now.  No need to wait for a class to happen when you can make it...just open the book and start learning now.

Check the calendar!

Classes are text chat only and structured. Notes are given after class has been attended. Please do not distribute class notes without prior permission from the instructor. Classes are announced in Sweet Sculpties and the groups through which weI teach. We have a non-SL group, You've Got CLASS where I and my partner, Fox Obviate, announce classes we teach with locations and times. Please join at our stores, TAMA, Tiny TAMA and TAMA Motors. Locations can be obtained from my profile.

Classes change from week to week and new classes are added as development time and RL permits.

Classes are approximately 60-90 minutes. Although student questions can lengthen classes, questions are always encouraged. Please do not IM the instructor during class as IMs cannot be answered while class is in session.

Prerequisite for all hands-on classes:  The maximum size for the Frame which reads and makes your sculpt is 10mx10mx10m.  We ask students to rez a mat prior to class and resize it with SL-edit to 5m on both X and Y.  You can name the mat with 5x5 at the end to identify it and then take into inventory.  Please use this mat for classes with us.  A major advantage is the space taken up by your mat and the second is it is more likely that your slice set-up will remain within the 10x10x10 limit.
