To help you out, see if they have a To Go Menu that you may take home.  This will help in keeping track of what foods are available, and the prices.  Also during your restaurant visit you may want to take a recording device.  This way you can make notes without having to have paper and pencil with you at the table.

You will be asked to write a persuasive restaurant review over the restaurant of your choice.  Use persuasive words and supporting details to support your overall opinion of the restaurant.  You will be ranking it according to the terms reached in class.

Be sure to include:

  • An interesting lead
  • Thesis statement
  • Persuasive evidence
  • Sensory details (smells, tastes, sounds, sites, and feel)
  • Transitions
