Welcome! I am a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Tokyo, Japan. I've held visiting positions at the Department of Philosophy of Dartmouth College (April 2018 - March 2019), the Tilburg Center for Logic, Ethics, and Philosophy of Science (TiLPS) (September - October, 2019), and the Forschungskolleg Analytic German Idealism (FAGI) of the University of Leipzig (November - December 2019). I was also a research fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) from April 2017 through March 2019.

My research interest lies in philosophy of language (metasemantics, inferentialism, expressivism), metaphilosophy (conceptual engineering), and the history of 20th century philosophy (esp. Carnap and Sellars). I'm currently writing my PhD dissertation under the tentative title "Wilfrid Sellars and the Dynamics of the Space of Reasons."
