I recently started working as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. I completed my PhD from the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne. I worked with Prof. James Bailey , Prof. Lars Kulik and Dr. Lida Rashidi in the field of Pattern Recognition and Data Mining. I was a lecturer in the Dept of CSE, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I completed my BS and MS degrees from the dept. of CSE, University of Dhaka in 2011. and 2013, respectively. During my PhD study, I attended a research internship program to work in the area of Intrinsic Dimensionality under the supervision of Prof. Micheal Houle at the National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo. My research interest lies on Pattern Discovery, Association Rule Mining, Intrinsic Dimensionality and Spatial Query Processing.
