2026 Tahquitz Crew Selected Roster
Those selected make sure to check your emails regularly for eMedical Health Survey Questionnaire to Pack Test. An email has been sent out already to selected individuals.
Prior to training make sure to complete ICS100 and IS700 using the links below.

On the first day of training which is April 17, 2026 for GROUP 1 and April 24, 2026 for GROUP 2, we will meet at the Lake Hemet day use area to administer a pack test. The work capacity test (pack test) consists of walking for 3 miles with a 45lbs weight vest in under 45 minutes. We will begin 0800 sharp! Come prepared by showing up in your PT clothes and comfy walking/running shoes. You will not need your boots for this portion of training.
Tahquitz Group 1 Training
Location: Keenwild Station 56
-HWY 243, Mountain Center, CA 92561
Time: 0930 - 1800
Dates: April 17 - April 21, 2026.
Bring a lunch, snacks and water for the day.
Bring PT (physical training) clothes, Fire Boots, running shoes.
Wear plain Navy Blue shirts.
Tahquitz Group 2 Training
Location: Keenwild Station 56
-HWY 243, Mountain Center, CA 92561
Dates: April 24 - April 28, 2026.
Time: 0930 - 1800
Bring a lunch, water and snacks.
Bring PT (physical training) clothes, fire boots and running shoes.
Wear plain Navy Blue shirts.
