General Information

Enjoy the 6th grade social studies projects from the 2010-11 school year!
Welcome to the TAEP Social Studies Fair site. This site will help you and your child prepare the project. Individual teachers have sent information home with students and have talked with them about projects. Due to the number of snow days, most teachers will be unable to devote classroom time to develop the projects. Most work will need to be completed at home.
Students in grades 3, 4, 6 and 8 are eligible to participate. They will present their projects at the TAEP Fair on January 28th.  Please refer to the timeline below for specific dates and times. The timeline will be updated as plans are finalized. Projects will be judged at the school level. The top projects in each category at each grade level will qualify for the county social studies fair.
The Preston County Social Studies Fair is scheduled for TBA at the Craig Civic Center. Students will set up their projects at 5:00PM on TBA. TAEP is scheduled to present their projects from 11:00AM to 12:45PM. Public viewing is from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on TBA. Awards will be given out beginning at 7:00PM at the Craig Civic Center.
