PRINTABLE GROUND BEEF TACO RECIPE

INGREDIENTS, STEPS AND UTENSILS NEEDED:


  • About 1 Pound of 93% Super Lean Ground Sirloin (Food Handling Gloves if you have them)

Combine these five items: (Green Chile Mix) in a (Small Bowl)

  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions, rinsed and dried (Strainer, Kitchen Scissors, Paper Towels, Measuring Cup)
  • 1 4oz can Hatch Green Chiles - Mild (Can Opener, Spoon)
  • 1 generous tablespoon minced garlic (I use the pre-minced jarred kind found in most produce sections) (Measuring Spoon)
  • 1/2 a shallot, chopped (Knife, Kitchen Scissors, or chopper)

Next:(Peppers)

  • Frozen Pepper Stir Fry Mix (Usually Comes Mixed with Onions, Red, Yellow, Green Peppers, if you can find a mix of just peppers that would be great)
  • Pick out 1/2 cup of the peppers only (no onions) and place into a (Measuring Cup)
  • Dice the peppers in the measuring cup with your (Kitchen Scissors) -  Let it sit to thaw a bit.

Next:

  • Add 1 (Tablespoon) vegetable oil to a (large skillet.)
  • Add the Ground Beef, Break it up a bit,(Spatula) heat to medium high, brown it, stir frequently
  • When its mostly browned, (not a lot of raw bits) Add the Green Chile Mix and the peppers

(Don't drain the meat per the taco packet instructions! fugg dat shi)

  • Stir in 1/3 cup water (measuring cup) and 1 pack of taco seasoning (you can make yours from scratch if you want, I was low on time) (I used Old El Paso Mild)
  • Bring to a boil for a few minutes
  • Reduce, Simmer, Stir, Lower heat
  • Cook until its thicker/most of the juice is absorbed (I cook it at this point between 3-6 until some of the meat is slightly crisp, use your best judgement)

Lastly add some (Salt) (I like Kosher), (Paprika), and (Garlic Powder) to taste and stir it up. - Add Whatever seasonings you like if needed.



All in together now(Everybody shake ya A**... Everybody getting hot in hereeee) ... N 2 Gether Now (Limp Bizkit? & Method Man)  Its like Method Man with Limp Bizkit? Weird... I haven't heard Limp Bizbit since i was like in 6th grade, I'm not a fan, but its a kind of a funny song nevertheless.

  • I used (Green Chile Tortillas) (Found at Sprouts, you can use whatever tortillas you like) (Heat as many as you need)
  • On each tortilla, add some cheese: ( A combination of Shredded Mozzarella, Queso Fresco, Cheddar Jack,  or a shredded Mexican Blend, whatever you like).
  • Add a little (shredded lettuce, optional, i used romaine which i chopped into taco acceptable size myself with my handy kitchen scissors)
  • Add some ground beef mixture.
  • Add more cheese (cause cheese is bae)
  • Add (sour cream - i used light)
  • Add (chopped avocado) (I like to season the chopped avocado with garlic salt and pepper to taste before adding it)
  • Top with Cholula, your favorite hot sauce or salsa if desired.
