PureXS

Pictures of my PureXS from All American Computers

This is the first picture of my PureXS from AAC, taken by Kyle Felstien, president of the company. It's waiting for its clear side-panel and dual Seagate Barracuda 320GB hard-drives (for RAID 0).

I must say, if you'll pardon the juvenile expression, this system gives me a total woody.

Look at the solid aluminum case. The black? Anodized, not painted on.

Red lights in the fans? Indicating she's got ATI in here baby, yeah!

Cable grouping? Well it looks like you'll just have to wait for some of my pics to really see that. But you can see a hint, and those dual X1900 XT's are sitting up top looking mean.

Placeholder drives were placed in for this image.

Stuff for David:

Notes so I can remember things when my PureXS arrives...

Bring all background tasks up and finish them

rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

"This immediately executes all background idle tasks to completion, including tasks such as the Windows prefetcher."

ATI

Oblivion

  • Remember that MODs need to be date-stamped later than the executable. Install official MODs, then look up the level MOD and the images you saved of some poster's MOD directory.
  • Use the Oblivion Tweak Guide.

Rise of Legends, Galactic Civilizations II

Yay! Strategy! I can have large ship creations in GC2 and all the effects in RoL.

F.E.A.R. Multiplayer

I want to play this.

Operation Flashpoint

Gotta see how well this old CPU eating game runs on Conroe.

X3

Gotta try it out. Steve said it was good. Crashes to desktop on Clara (4yo gaming rig).
