The room I have designed is what I call, "The Ultimate Game Room," because it is specialized to be a comfortable and relaxing environment for playing video games. Somewhat in the middle of the room is a puffy sofa, so that I can sit comfortably while playing games, or I can just take a rest while lying down. The floor is carpeted because I find floor carpeting to be very cosy. I put an HDTV and a surround sound system, because I am enthusiastic about picture and sound quality. I have included PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo 64 game systems. To store the games, I put a vending machine because I think it is a cool way to pick up a game, and I like pushing buttons. The way it works, is that each game is assigned a code, and like many snack machines, there is a number pad. When I am finished with the game, I insert it in a slot. There also is a magenta lava lamp because I find them calming. I placed a large vent for a central air conditioner because I want to feel comfortable temperature-wise, and I find its white noise to be relaxing. The room contains no windows to prevent reflection on the TV screen, and I personally do not like sunlight in a game room. There are a few dimmable lights reflected from walls because they are relaxing and do not reflect on the TV screen.
