Erie Shores 100th Anniversary Centennial Camporee

posted Oct 3, 2012, 8:01 PM by Ian Vogt

We’ve waited 100 years to throw a party like this one. When your troop takes part in the 2012 Centennial Camporee, you’ll have a chance to join hundreds upon hundreds of other scouts in more activities than can possibly fit into a single we
ekend. Your $12.00 registration fee includes access to all activities and exhibits, lunch on Saturday and the 2012 Centennial Camporee Patch.

Almost all of the non-aquatic activities from Summer Camp will be open, such as Shooting Sports and ATVs. There will also be activities and exhibits that let you experience what Scouting was like when your father or grandfather was a scout, right next to demonstrations of the latest technology and techniques from today’s scouting. Add to that camp-wide games and competitions, plus exhibits from local military, environmental and other groups. Evening campfires will be held on both Friday and Saturday nights, and scouts of all ages will be entertained and inspired by what is in store.
