Senior Software Developer 

 System Fabric Works is looking for Senior Software Engineers 


Candidate will participate in the architecture, design and development of system integration solutions and software to implement leading-edge features on high-speed transport protocols and APIs for our clients – Enterprise Data Center,  commercial IT and Cloud end users, HPC sites, government, manufacturers of computer hardware, software, network and storage systems and devices, as well prime contractors and OEMs. 

This position architects, designs, ports, develops and tests I/O device drivers, kernel level network and fabric stack development and middle level communications software such as the OpenFabrics Software/OFED using common development and scripting languages with operating systems such as Linux, Solaris, VxWorks and Windows. Ports and/or develops new code on existing systems, including storage subsystems and clusters, using RDMA technologies on both Ethernet and InfiniBand. 

Candidate will work closely with clients and customers to design, architect and propose solutions. Candidate must be able to work independently and provide accurate estimation of the work and costs involved.


Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, information sciences plus 5 years of experience in system software development of I/O drivers.

Experience should also include:

  • 5 years experience programming in C and scripting, and at least one of the following languages: C++, Assembly, or Java.
  • 5 years experience working with device drivers using Linux/Unix operating system, and at least one of the following operating systems: Windows, Solaris, VXworks or AIX.
  • 3 years of experience working with kernel network, RDMA or real time stack development.
  • 3 years experience working with storage subsystems or experience in firmware development.
