Synthetic Motion is the moniker of electronic musician Andrew Garraway. Coming from a background of classically trained piano and brass, in 2001 he began to experiment with electronic music. In a matter of months he had released his first album of demos tracks: "Test Signal" in a limitted release, mainly to friends and family. After a bit of coaxing he created his first widely distributed album Catalyst, which was released to the world in August of 2006. Many new demo tracks have been released for free on Sound Cloud and a new album is in the works tentatively scheduled for some time in 2012.

Since the release of Catalyst, Andrew has also started to create more traditional orchestral compositions that have been used in various small, independent films and such (you can find some of them at myspace.com/andrewfilmscores.
