SynapTech specialization is in design, fabrication, and development of movable microelectrode arrays for neural interfaces. Our patent pending articulating neural interfaces can guide the trajectory and proximity of the electrode sites to the neural tissue for monitoring and modulation. Our actuating technology is versatile and can easily be integrated with retinal electrodes, peripheral nerve cuffs, ECoG arrays, implantable cortical arrays, as well as deep brain and spinal stimulators.
Our core technology comprises of bio-compatible, low voltage (< 1 V ) actuators that are easily integrated in any standard micro or regular fabrication process.
We are interested in partnering with other device manufactures to provide a truly novel and unique approach to navigating and interfacing neural tissues.
