Welcome!

Dear Senior Residents,

As you know, your scholarly project experience will culminate in the presentation of an abstract, poster and oral presentation during the Spring Scholarly Project Poster Symposium. This year, the symposium is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 4:30-6:30pm in the MIND Auditorium. The event will include food and wine, a featured speaker and an awards presentation by Department Chair Dr. Satyan Lakshminrusimha.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Thursday, May 2, 2019: Abstract & poster draft due to Chief Residents.
  • Thursday, May 9, 2019: Abstract & poster feedback session w/ faculty.
  • Monday, May 13, 2019: Final abstracts & poster files must be emailed to Maura Reilly no later than 12pm.

Awards: Awards will be given for the following four categories: best abstract, best poster, best oral presentation and best fellow project. You can view the judging criteria here.

Please continue to refer to the Scholarly Project Guidelines for full information about the poster, abstract and oral presentation requirements.
